- Ideal for materials with medium to high yields and ultimate tensile strength
- Rigid structure and compact design
- Range: plate thickness from 80-100mm (3-4 inches)
- Easy operation; top roll movies in an up and down direction while the side rolls move in and out
- Variable geometry allows the operator to move each side roll in and out independently to optimize the best leverage for any application
- Built-in powered rolls; 3 independently powered rolls for the best torque transmission available
- 3 independent hydraulic motors and 3 gearboxes splined directly to each roll to help eliminate plate slipping and control movement through the machine
- Highly accurate plate feeding
- Top roll titling in cone application (exclusive to DAVI MAV)
- Innovative “pull-power-design” allows cylinders to pull down the top roll pressing it down onto the plate; eliminating deflections and mechanical backlash
- DAVI patented Planetary Swing Guide technology wraps the side rolls towards the center of the machine’s top roll to allow the tightest geometry available in the market
- MCO 3 Roll Double Pinch Features:
- Design: Fixed top roll with 2 side rolls that swing up for pre-bending and rolling
- Range: plate thickness from 15-20 mm (5/8 – 3/4 inch) , up to 80-100 mm (3 – 4 Inch), or more
- Ideal for ideal limited production volumes
- “Double pinch” design uses the side rolls to prepend the plate; both ends of the plate can be pre-bent without removing the material from the machine
- Built-in powered rolls; 3 independently powered rolls for the best torque transmission available
- Highly accurate plate feeding without the risk of plate slipping
- DAVI patented Planetary Swing Guide technology wraps the side rolls towards the center of the machine’s top roll to allow the tightest geometry available in the market
